Who we are and how to contact us
SlotSnap operates the SlotSnap.uk marketplace and booking service. For privacy questions, access, correction, deletion or objection requests, email Slotsnap.uk@gmail.com or use our contact form. Please do not include medical, payment-card or other sensitive information in your message.
Information we use
We process account details (name, email, optional phone number and password hash); provider listing details; booking details (service, date, time and contact details); reviews; job-board posts and reports; and technical security information needed to protect the service. Stripe processes card details for paid services—we do not receive or store full card numbers.
Why we use it
We use this information to create and secure accounts, publish listings, make and administer bookings, process payments, send transactional messages, prevent fraud and abuse, moderate content, resolve support requests and meet legal obligations. The usual legal bases are performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in running a safe marketplace, and legal obligations. We will ask separately before using data for optional marketing where consent is required.
Who receives it
When you book, the provider receives the booking information needed to deliver that service. We use processors to run the service, including Vercel (hosting), Neon/Postgres (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email) and Vercel Blob (files uploaded to job posts). Providers are independent businesses and are responsible for their own privacy information and use of booking data.
Retention and rights
We keep account and booking records while the relevant account or provider relationship is active, then only as long as necessary for support, dispute handling, fraud prevention and legal/accounting obligations. You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. We may need to verify your identity. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies and analytics
SlotSnap uses a strictly necessary session cookie when you sign in. We use Vercel's privacy-focused analytics and performance measurement to understand aggregate use and improve reliability; we do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. If we introduce non-essential storage or advertising technology, we will provide an appropriate choice before it is enabled.
Important scope note
SlotSnap is not a clinical record system. Providers must not use it to collect medical histories, diagnoses or other sensitive health information unless and until SlotSnap has published an appropriate specialist data-processing arrangement.
